Hello everyone!
Easter is just around the corner and it means that it is a time to start preparation. I found a great way to keep your kids busy and entertained during the holidays. Today we are going to make a paper plate bunny purse for the candies. It is simple and you can involve your child into the making process.
OR! You might as well want to surprise your little ones by making the purse, filling it with some Easter candies and hang it on their bed while they are sleeping. Just imagine their faces in the morning! :)
Here is what you will need:
- simple white paper plate
- white card stock for ears
- yarn or string for purse strap
- paint or markers to decorate face and ears
- glue stick or other adhesive to attach ears
- thread, glue or staples to seal the paper plate closed
Step 1
Fold the paper plate in half.
Step 2
Take a card stock and cut the bunny ears. Draw the ears and let them dry then stick them to the plate.
Step 3
Draw a bunny’s face on the plate.
Step 4
Glue the two halves of the plate together to create a purse. You can use superglue to complete the task as well as the thread to sue them together.
Step 5
Take the yarn and measure it through your kid’s shoulder. Don’t forget to ask them if they are comfortable with the certain length or if they want it longer or shorter. Attach the yarn to the plate.
Step 6
Fill the purse with the candies.
Here you go! No matter whether your kids were helping you to create this cute purse or you decided to make them a surprise I am sure both kids and adults will get a real satisfaction enjoying playing with this cool purses. And eating candies of course! This DIY will be good for the other holidays and parties as well and you will get a chance to improvise and create other animal faces for the kids in your family. Happy Holidays and enjoy!
