How Abbigli works
Our creative community helps all those interested in using the site to set up and register an account for free, and then to design and create their own creative space. The site is easy to use and has been designed to attract new followers of your talent. Space on the site is free — there are no hidden costs and no restrictions on the number of items you post. We promote your designs and creativity free of charge and give you the chance to source other like-minded people. Add as many items as you like every day, publish blogs and organise events.
Your profile
Complete the field with your name, or the name of your shop/business. Describe your design, product or idea as fully as possible. Complete the address field — this will enhance your page's popularity with the GEO feature. Insert links to your social webpages and indicate your contact details to build trust with potential clients.
Uploading a post
On Abbigli, there are three types of post: Product/Services (for selling), Blog (for publishing articles and ideas), and Event (for creative events, meetings, fairs and exhibitions). Always upload good photographs — use images no less than 640×480px. Good photographs improve your chances of success and display your designs in the best possible way.
Messages
A message thread starts by sending a message using the 'I WANT' button on a product, or by using the 'Send a private message' function from the user's profile page. On your personal profile page, go into 'Messages' to see all your conversations.
The 'I want' button
If you like a product or service that a user is proposing, press the 'I WANT' button to send them a private message and discuss purchasing the item directly. You can write your message in the form window that opens. Commission-free — you deal directly with the seller.
Favourites
Create your own selection of Favourites so that you don't lose posts you have liked. Click on 'LIKE' and the post will appear in your Favourites section. Build amazing collections with one click.
Tags
When making a post, remember to complete the TAGS field. Tags are words that capture the essence of your design or product — clients find you using tag search. Use as many tags as you can think of. A tag made up of several words should use the underscore '_' symbol between words (not a hyphen '-').
News Feed
Follow other creators to learn about their new posts in your news feed. The 'Follow' button allows you to follow a user and view new posts they make. Subscribe to your favourite designer's page and stay updated on their creations.
