We all often face with such a situation, when we want something... well, just something  "crunchy" :) Especially when we spend an evening watching a movie or TV series, in a homelike atmosphere . To stock up on such delicious sweet snacks, you do not necessarily need to leave the house, forcing yourself or even worse, to make a whole trip to the supermarket. The recipe of this brittle includes ingredients which, in principle, are easy to find just at home. Especially if you are a fan of nuts. However, you can easily replace all of the missing additives with your favorite ones, or with those that you have.

Let's get started.

You will need:

450 grams of oatmeal flakes
250 grams of butter
100 grams of brown sugar
80 grams of honey
300 grams of candied fruit
80 grams of almonds
80 grams of walnuts

To start with, slice the candied fruit into small pieces.

Slightly fry the mixture of walnuts and almonds, let them cool and then crush it with the help of a blender.

Melt butter in a pan, add there sugar and honey.

If you want the brittles to be less sweet, you can put less sugar, or not add it at all. Mix the mass with a wooden spatula until smooth and remove from heat.

Now add there chopped candied fruit and nuts, then pour there oatmeal flakes. Stir the mass and pour it in the pan, covered with parchment.

Make each cake with a minimum thickness of 2 cm, so that the ready brittles don't deliquesce. Bake them in the oven for about 30-45 minutes at 170 C. When snacks are ready, pull them out of the oven, leave to cool for about 10 minutes and then cut them into all sorts of figures.

Done! Bon Appetit!
