How To Make Chapstick

This chapstick will properly protect your lips from the harmful influence of the environment. It will heal chapped lips and treat lip irritation. This chapstick creates a water-holding membrane. Thanks to it the lipstick won’t bleed, it will stick to your lips for a long time.

Ingredients

For one tube of the chapstick you’ll need:

• Beeswax - 3,0 (approx. ½ of a teaspoon)
• Cocoa oil - 2,0 (approx.. 1 teaspoon)
• Jojoba oil - 5 ml. (approx. 1 teaspoon)
• 2 drops of an evening primrose essential oil
• or you can take any other essential oil

Technique Of Making The Chapstick

We take white grinded beeswax. We measure out 2,0 of cocoa oil and grate it.

We put all this into a heat-resistant small glass. Then we mix it with a stainless steel spoon and put the mixture on a water bath. Once the beeswax and cocoa oil are melted (this process takes up to 7 min.), we add 1 teaspoon of jojoba oil and mix the mixture until its components are melted.

On a plate with very cold water, we put a container for the future chapstick. The container should be washed, dried and rubbed with alcohol beforehand. There should be no lid on the container. We take the mixture and put it somewhere to cool down for several minutes. Then, we add 2 drops of evening primrose essential oil into the mixture. If you don’t find primrose oil, you may use a different one.

Once again, we thoroughly mix the mixture. Then, we start to carefully and slowly pour it into the container. At first, we fill ¼ of the container and give the mixture some time to solidify. After that, we fill the container till the end. If your mixture solidifies much earlier than it needs to, put it on the water bath once again, melt the mixture and pour it in the container.
