What do you need for a necklace?
Beads from wooden balls. Wood is a beautiful natural material in itself, it is not necessary to decorate; it is enough to buy beads and cover them with varnish.
Felt beads are very pleasant to touch and light. This decoration is well combined with warm knitted clothes.
Beads from polymer clay. There are many variants of manufacturing polymer beads. The simplest one is to divide the clay into equal parts, roll the balls between the palms and bake.
The salted dough is a safe material, so it is ideal for sculpting with children. In it, you can add food colouring before work, and you can paint with colours after.
Beads can be made from paper, old newspapers and magazines. To do this, long strips of paper are twisted in the form of beads or tubes and fix the tip with glue, then cover with varnish and collect on a string.
A few steps in creating a necklace with feathers

large beads
4-millimetre beads
black hairpins
8 millimetres black rings for connection
wire

a chain with small rings

Step 1. Insert the wire through one large bead so that it stuck out 2.5 cm in front.
Step 2. Make a loop with the pliers.
Step 3. Place the loop in the hole of the bead. Wrap the bead with a wire. No matter how you do it, most importantly, the wire should be tightly fitted with a bead.
Step 4. Wrap the wire several times around the top loop and cut off excess.
Step 5. Fill on the other end.
Step 6. Place a small bead on the pin, trim so that it remains 1 cm and make the loop with the pliers. This will be additional insertions in the chain.
Step 7. Make approximately 10 pieces of these inserts.
Step 8. Connect these inserts together, creating two separate segments of equal length.
Step 9. Attach one end to insert big beads and others - to a chain of rings.
