How To Make A Paper Bag Book Cover

If you have a favourite book, the cover of which has worn out big time or you want to take the book with you while traveling, the best way to keep the book is to protect it with a cover. Very simple and quick way to make a cover for the book with your own hands!

First we gather the materials:

• Book;
• Scissors;
• Thin adhesive tape;
• Cartridge paper.

One piece of advice: you choose yourself which material to pick for the cover, it may be a paper bag with a pattern, or a waterproof paper.

We Form A Cover

It is not necessary to measure the dimensions of the cover with a ruler. Just place the book on paper, as it lies on the photo. Leave the paper strip on both sides of the book.

Just cut with scissors the excess of the paper. First width.

Then cut the excess paper along the length, for this put the book inside the cover.

Then make cuts in the binding on top and bottom as shown in the photo.

Then fold the cover and tape it shut behind and from the front.

Congratulations, you just made a simple cover for a book with your own hands and spent a total of 10 minutes. Now the book is intact.
