How To Cook A Rutabaga

A simple recipe of the tastiest garnish from rutabaga: is baked in oven pieces and mixed with balsam vinegar.

Ingredients:

  • 4 pieces of rutabaga (500 - 550 gr.);
  • 2 tbls. of vegetable oil (olive);
  • 1 tbls. of vinegar (balsamic);
  • Pepper to your taste (ground);
  • Salt to your taste.

Instructions

For cooking of rutabaga we heat up oven to 220 degrees and carefully wash out the root.

Peel the rutabaga with a knife.

Dice the cooked roots into cubes of medium size.

We put cubes of rutabaga on a baking tray with paper, salt, pepper and sprinkle oil.

We send fragrant rutabaga to the oven for 30-40 minutes until the pieces become soft inside, and crackling from above.

We mix the tastiest rutabaga with balsamic vinegar and we serve. Bon appetit!
