DIY Pom pom Pillowcase

Let’s continue showing our eternal love to the pom poms. To be honest, there are so many DIY’s on how to decorate the pillow with the pom poms and I have already saw almost all of them but never been super exited. Today I have found this one and fell in love with it. This pillow looks so simple and perfect that I just couldn’t scroll past it and not to share with you. Molly, the author of this tutorial says that she has never worked with the pom poms before and it is the easiest DIY she did in a long time and she loved it.

Here is what you will need:
- PLAIN PILLOWCASE
- WHITE POM POMS (0.25 IN)
- FELT GLUE

In this tutorial author got a pillowcase with a linen texture. The linen makes your design look even more stylish. Of course you can choose the other texture or color for yours.

Lay a pillowcase down on your working surface. The author did her design without any additional supplies but if you are not sure that you can make even diamond shapes on an even distance just use the ruler and a pencil to slightly mark the places for them. You can also find yourself a diamond template for even better result.

As you marked all the diamond spots it is a time to assemble them with pom poms. Put some felt glue onto the pom pom and press it on its place. Once you have made the full diamond push the whole piece down with your hand to secure it more.

TIP: Put a little bit of felt glue on the side of each pom pom to glue them together.

Follow the same directions to make more diamonds. Do the both sides of the pillow or leave the backing empty. Once you have done let it dry for at least 3 hours but author recommends to give it a day before you will start using it.

Voila! Now you have the pillow that looks so great. I think the hardest part of this tutorial is to wait till the pillowcase will dry! Its white colors will match any room design which makes it universal. Enjoy!
