Let’s start crocheting doilies.
Step 1. Make the magic ring with a thread of basic color and fasten it.
Step 1. Make two chains.
Step 2. Crochet the ring with 11 treble crochets.
Step 3. Join the ring. Pull the thread, tightening the ring and then knit a single crochet in the first loop of the row.
Step 1. Crochet three chains.
Step 2. Crochet a single crochet in the stitch.
Step 3. Crochet two double crochets in each loop of the first stitch.
You should now have 24 single crochets
Step 4. Crochet a single crochet in the first loop of the row to close it.
Step 1. Crochet three chains.
Step 2. Make two double crochets in the next stitch, one double crochet in the next stitch and again two double crochets in the stitch.
Now you should get 36 single crochets.
Step 3. Crochet a single crochet in the first loop of the row to close it.
Step 1. Crochet three chains.
Step 2. Make two double crochets in the next stitch, one double crochet in the next stitch and again two double crochets in the stitch.
Now you should get 48 single crochets.
Step 3. Crochet a single crochet in the first loop of the row to close it.
Step 1. Chain three loops.
Step 2. Crochet a single crochet in the stitch.
Step 3. Crochet two chains.
Step 4. Double crochet in the same stitch of the previous row.
Step 5. Skip two rows. Step 4. Double crochet in the same stitch of the previous row. Crochet in the ring.
Step 6. To finish knitting, pull the thread through the loop and cut it.
Your doily is practically finished, now you need only to decorate it.
Take a thread of another color.
Enter the hook into one of the rows (closer to the outer edge of the doily) and pull a chain. Now insert the hook in the next stitch and chain once.
Continue until you reach your first loop. Pull the thread through the loop and cut it.
Insert the thread into the needle and insert it in the first loop, as shown on the photo. Make a stitch in last loop and finish the work.
As you can see, this is a simple pattern suitable even for beginners.
