Preparing
Firstly, find information about resin`s cure time. You will need it to plan the speed of your actions. Also put resin and hardener in hot water, which will help to reduce the number of bubbles and improve mixing of components. Choose your working area and cover it with wax paper, protecting it from resin.
Also find a box to lay it on forms with resin, because nobody wants dust, hair or fur in jewelry. Regulate the climate in the room, because resin best cure at a temperature in the low 70’s Fahrenheit. If you want to make a jewelry from a photo or other non-waterproof material, you need at first to seal it using a transparent clue. The latest step preparing for DIY is to use mold release, which eases the sticking of resin from it.

How to make resin jewelry at home?
Begin with deciding, which fillers do you want to use and put them in appropriate forms. Put on latex gloves to protect your hands from resin. Remember, that it can`t be washed off! Then start mixing components. Use a small plastic cup from syrup, if you want to create less than three decorations. We offer you to use resin and hardener in proportion 1:1. Mix them carefully. Add a dye or glitter to it, if you want. For easier usage put the mixture into a condiment bottle.
Firstly, pour a layer of resin, then put the filler and cover it with another layer of resin. Add some glitter or other decoration if you want. To remove all the bubbles of air, heat forms with hairdryer. Cover it with a box and wait for at least 12 hours.
If you found out, that your fillers didn`t harden enough, put them into the deep freeze for 10 minutes.
How to make resin earrings or necklaces?
For creating such kinds of jewelry, you need special items, such as ring pads, clasps, flat safety. For necklaces and bracelets hold a pin with a loop with pliers and heat up over a gas stove or candle. Then poke it into the resin, which must be cured for less than 1 day. For rings glue necessary parts to your decoration.
