In order to make a soccer ball, you need very simple materials and instruments.

• Paper.

To make a soccer ball, you need to draw on paper equilateral hexagon and pentagon - this will be the pattern. Angles parameters will depend on the size of the ball. If the side of the figure is 2 cm, the ball will be with diameter of about 10 cm.

Now according to these patterns we rule up (taking into account the seam allowance of 1 cm, if you sew the parts on the machine) parts of our ball — 20 hexagons of the fabric of the same color and 12 pentagons of the other fabric colors (it is better to take contrasting colors). You can sew very colorful or monochromatic ball, but then it will not look like a soccer one!

Then take a hexagon and a pentagon, put them "face to face" and carefully sew on a sewing machine or by hand with small stitches.

Then on each side of the same pentagon we sew a hexagon.

Then we sew up according to the scheme:

We will get one hemisphere of our ball.

When the two halves are ready — sew them up, leaving a small opening to turn out and fill the ball.

When everything is ready, you need to stuff the ball in any filler (wool, synthetic padding, scraps of rags, thread). If the toy is intended for a baby or a pet, you can fill it with rustling plastic bags. You can also make a rattle out of ball. To do this, you need to take a container of chocolate eggs or packaging of the overshoes, put there a few beads or peas, close tightly and put inside the ball.

Make the last stitch and that's it - the ball is ready! You can play with it!
