Collect 56 stitches by a usual casting, knit 14 rows by plain knitting. The last wrong side row (WSR) knit as follows:
1 Edge stitch (edge st), 4 purl, throw 1 stitch, 8 purl, throw 1 stitch, 8 purl, throw 1 stitch, 8 purl, throw 1 stitch, 8 purl, throw 1 stitch, 8 purl, throw 1 stitch, 4 purl, 1 Edge stitch (edge st).
Dissolve the thrown stitches until the penultimate stitch of the beginning of the knitting row.
Knit the knit stitches in the right side row (RSR); raise the broaches, inserting a spoke into the second stitch from the fabric edge, grab the working thread and knit the knit stitch under the broaches.
Knit 3 stitches in purl one by one (all the stitches of a row) in the Wrong Side Row (WSR). Next, collect all stitches of the knitted row on thread and secure.
Sew extreme halves of the petal by vertical seam. The middle of a flower can be decorated with buttons, beads, or other accessories.
