How To Cook Tapioca

It is difficult to explain what tapioca is. It has no particular taste and can take the taste of any seasoning. In this recipe, tapioca is tender and creamy due to milk. Passion fruit may add a perfect sourness to the dish. If tapioca seems quite tasteless for you, you can add some condensed milk.

Ingredients:

  • 10 pcs passion fruit;
  • 1 tsp pectin;
  • 400 ml /13.5 fl oz milk;
  • 250 g /8.8 oz tapioca;
  • 1.5 liter /1.6 qt water;
  • sugar to taste.

Method Of Cooking

Bring the water to a boil. Put tapioca into the water and cook for 5 minutes. Drain it in a sieve and rinse with cold water.

Pour milk in a saucepan. Put in tapioca and cook for 5 minutes over high heat.

Take out tapioca and put it in a bowl. Cover with the plastic wrap and make a puncture. Put it into the freezer for 20 minutes.

Meanwhile, remove the flesh from the passion fruit.

Add pectin and sugar to taste. Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes. Then let it cool to room temperature.

Put tapioca in the bowl and top it with passion fruit.
