How To Cook Mashed Potatoes

Mashed potatoes is probably the easiest to cook fixings that you may think of. cooking mashed potatoes is very much like boiling noodles or cooking sunny side up eggs. This is about the skill that every person has, even the person that cooks once in a while and doesn’t aim to achieving great results in cooking.

  • potatoes - (approximately) 12;
  • cream – ½ of a glass or milk – 1 glass;
  • butter – 2 teaspoons;
  • salt (as much as you like).

We need to wash the potatoes, peel them off and boil till they are well cooked.

Then, we completely pour out water, cover the potatoes with a towel and steam them on the very low fire till they become white. In other words, we dry the potatoes till all water evaporates from them.

We thoroughly mash the potatoes. There should be no water or anything else. We do it thoroughly. When there is no water, this is much easier to be done and there are no balls in your puree.

Then, we add a piece of butter. It should necessarily be melted. We mash everything.

We add hot milk or 10% cream. We mash everything. We do it as if we are shaking up the mas.

Only now we need to add salt, black pepper or any other condiments you like.

The tastiest puree in the world is ready!
