How To Cook Apples

The apples by themselves are considered a very healthy product. Baked in the oven, they become even more wholesome, because they are much better digested by the body. But how to properly bake apples in order to save and multiply their useful properties and get a delicious dessert?

Let's take a look at the rules of baking apples, using one of the most popular recipes as an example.

  • apples 1 piece. (200 g);
  • honey 20 g;
  • walnut 20 g;
  • cow milk 50 g;
  • milk cream 50 g + 60 g;
  • vanilla 1 stick (2 g);
  • sugar 50 g + 100 g;
  • egg yolk 2 pieces;
  • butter 75 g.

The Cooking Process

Prepare the ingredients.

Wash the apple, remove its core.

Put dried apricots in the hole.

Cut off the tip a little, so that the apple is stable.

Chop the nuts.

Stir nuts with honey.

Dump the apple with the honey-nut mixture.

Then put it on the baking pan.

Pierce the apple with a wooden toothpick so that it does not burst in the oven. Bake the apple 20-25 minutes at 180 degrees.

Prepare vanilla and caramel sauces. For the vanilla sauce combine milk with cream and add the sugar, cut the vanilla stick lengthwise, clean out the seeds with a knife and add the stick to the mixture of milk and cream, put on a slow fire, and boil for 5-6 minutes, then remove it from the heat and put in the egg yolks one by one, whisking. Put the sauce on a water bath and stir it until thickened.
For the caramel sauce pour sugar in a saucepan and put it on weak fire.

Cook sugar to caramel color.

Add the small pieces of butter, then cream.

Serve apple baked with honey and nuts with vanilla and caramel sauces! If desired, garnish it with fresh berries. Bon Appetit!
