How to make cool friendship bracelets?
To make your own adornment, follow our easy yarn bracelet tutorial step by step. We prepared a detailed description of technics, you will need during working on original jewelry. Preparation of threads The usual amount of threads for the bracelet is between 4 and 10. Remember, that the more threads you use, the wider bracelet you will get. Cut them to make the same length (mostly approximately 80 cm) and make a knot from yarns in the beginning. Then fix yarns with a scotch tape above the node to hold them in the same position. Another way is to use a safety pin and attach threads to a cushion or pillow or something like that. Keep the pins by your place to fix bracelet during its growth.Nodes
This tutorial is a bit harder, but we are sure that you`ll go through it. Let`s get started!
Prepare at least 6 strings (two of the same color) and make a node to affix them.
Distribute them in the order you want to have stripes.
Now make forward nodes moving to the last thread. As result, the first yarn should become the last one.
Repeat step 3 for the second thread and move on until you have a desired length of the bracelet. To finish you can make a simple knot from all threads or use our tips placed below.
Use at least 8 threads of for colors to weave this bracelet. Make a fixing knot.
Put them in order, in which you have a mirror image of colors from the centric point.
Do forward nodes using the first thread from the left side moving to the central point and then stop.
Now do the backward knots using the last thread, which will look like a mirror process. Repeat them until you get the central point and then do again the step 2 using the new first thread.
Now you have two threads of the same color in the center and two other threads of the same color on the left and right side. If your result is the same, you did everything alright.
Fix threads using a node from all of them or move below to choose another way.
Prepare at least 8 yarns of 4 different colors and make a unit of them.
Put the threads in the mirror image of colors from the central point.
Take two central strings of the same color and make a backward node from the right one over the left one. Make a unit one more time on the same left thread. You will still have two threads of the same color, which you had in the start, in the center.
Take the next two yarns of the same color and make from the left one two forward units over the left thread of the middle ones.
Make two backward nodes using the right yarn of the color you used in step 4 over the right middle thread. As a result, you will have two threads of the same color in the center.
Repeat steps 4 and 5 using another color. Remember that you must have another two threads of the same color in the center.
Reiterate the previous steps until you have a wristband of the desired length. Then connect all the strings with a knot.
Tighten the symmetrical knot after you end weaving of the bracelet and make one more to connect two sides. Cut off the extra length.
Exclusive tip. To make your bracelet more volume and loose, leave the longer endings.
Before tightening a node, threads the strings through the bead at one end.
During a preparing process, make a loop appropriate to the button you want to use. At the end of the process, make a knot to fix all the yarns and then fix a button with a node. Put on the bracelet on your wrist and push the button through the initial loop.
When you have already done the bracelet, make a plaid using strings as a hair and then tighten a knot.
At the end of the bracelet`s creating, make a knot to fix threads. Then loop the threads through the one part of the toggle and tighten a node. Cut off the extra endings. Repeat it to the other end of the bracelet to fix yarns to another part of a toggle.
Now, a ready homemade bracelet is in your hands, so you can wear it or present to close people to make them happier!
