May is a beautiful time to prepare light and delicious dishes at home. DIY food always tastes better! Here are 3 original and tasteful recipes with season vegetables.

Steaks from cabbage

An excellent dinner for those who do not like to spend a lot of time cooking.

You will need:

  • Cabbage - 1 pc.
  • Garlic - 2-3 cloves
  • Salt, pepper - at taste
  • Fragrant herbs - at taste
  • Vegetable oil - 3 tbsp.

Process:

    Cut cabbage at rings. We put it on a baking sheet covered with parchment. Add salt and pepper, cower our favorite herbs over cabbage. You can sprinkle it with thyme or a mixture of Provence or Italian herbs.

    In the cup, pour the vegetable oil and squeeze out the garlic. Mix well and grease the resulting aromatic mixture on cabbage. Put in the oven heated to 180 degrees and bake for about 20-30 minutes. Cabbage should be soft and get a golden crust.

Pesto from arugula

This handmade sauce will be an excellent addition to salads, pasta and sandwiches.

It will take:

  • Arugula - 3 cups
  • Garlic - 2 large
  • Nuts - 1 cup
  • Vegetable oil (better than olive oil) - 1 cup
  • Parmesan or other solid seasoned cheese - 0.5 cups
  • Salt, pepper - at taste

Process:

    Clear arugula, let it drain off - excess water or dry it with a paper towel. Put in the blender arugula, peeled garlic and hard cheese. Grind all very well.

    Add oil, salt, pepper and grind again. Put the sauce into a jar and cool it in the refrigerator.

Fried asparagus in bacon

Tasty and beautiful as you can see at the cover photo!

You will need:

  • Asparagus
  • Thin bacon slices
  • Vegetable oil

Process:

     Wrap asparagus in the bacon. Put it on a warmed-up frying pan and fry it on a small fire, until the bacon is browned.
