How to polish the silver jewelry

How to clean the silver with ammonia and hydrogen peroxide. Take the two tablespoons of ammonia and peroxides and dissolve them in a liter of water. Leave your jewelry in this solution for 15 minutes. Silver will react with ammonia and dirt will disappear. Rinse with clean water, and air-dry.

How to polish silver with banana peels. Make the paste of banana peels in a blender. Put some banana pasta on a rag or on the toothbrush and paste around your silver paste. Dip the silver into a water to clean the remaining paste. Dry the jewelry with a clean cloth…and you will be amazed!

Blackened silver should be cleaned in a delicate way. Prepare the solution from the soap and soda and leave the silver in this for 20 minutes. You can also clean the silver with the toothpaste.  Gently rub over the silver jewelry in straight, back-and-forth motions. Be very gentle, and if you notice scratching at any point, stop and rinse the toothpaste off. 

Another way is to clean the blackened silver with the potatoes. Peel some potatoes, place them in a bowl with water and leave there your jewelry. Leave your jewelry in water for 3-4 hours. If the plaque has not removed from silver completely, then erase it with a rubber eraser or clean cloth.  

Important tips to remember when cleaning the silver jewelry with stones. 

Jewelry with amber stones, pearls and ivory are very sensitive to acids, alkanes, and any solvents. Better give them to specialists who clean the valuable stones.

Avoid cleaning with hot water the ruby, topaz, and garnet, as they change color from contact with hot water.
