They have a inner layer of water resistant and absorbent layer. Plus an under layer of soft comfortable corded fabric. These are my own idea after having my Guinea pigs and elderly Cats. Leaving unwanted wet patches and fur being left on my lap after petting. Ideal for Reptiles too! They can be easily washed either by hand, or on a low setting in your washing machine. 30/40C.
