Monkey puzzle | Original wildlife painting in soft pastels

(25x35 cm) I know it's a chimp but I was thinking about my daughter the whole time while i was working on this painting. One of her favourite books is Monkey Puzzle, by Julia Donaldson, about a monkey that is searching for his mum and then finally finds her. Thus the name. I put a lot of love into this painting and would love to see it go into a wonderful new home. Hard pastels and pastel pencils on Clairfintaine pastelmat.
